The City of Clarkston Police will hold an Active Shooter Awareness Class on August 15, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Clarkston Library, 951 North Indian Creek Drive, Clarkston, GA 30021. The Clarkston Police Department is providing this FREE class to increase public awareness of the dramatic rise in annual active shooter incidents in the United States, to assist in public preparedness
Last night, August 2nd, after competitive play the Clarkston Summer After Dark Basketball League champions were crowned. With five weeks of regular season games, the league championship game pitted the undefeated White Shirts Team (7-0) against the (5-2) Black Shirts Team. The first half saw a close matchup, but in the second half, the White Shirts took a commanding lead that did not waiver.
