A quality of life officer is a municipal officer who interprets and enforces the municipal code of ordinances. Specific area of expertise includes: zoning regulations; building; housing; environmental and property maintenance.
In observance of the Labor Day holiday, all City of Clarkston offices will be closing at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025. City offices will remain closed through the holiday weekend and reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
Please note that sanitation services will not be delayed due to the holiday. Collection will continue on Monday, September 1, 2025.
