City of Clarkston and Event HelperZ Announce the Launch of the Inaugural Farmers Market

The City of Clarkston, in partnership with Event HelperZ, is excited to announce the launch of the Clarkston Farmers Market, a new monthly event designed to connect residents and visitors with fresh, locally sourced food, artisan goods, and community resources. The inaugural market will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Clarkston Woman’s Club, 3913 Church St, Clarkston, GA 30021.

The market will feature 20–40 vendors, offering a wide range of products including fresh seasonal produce, baked goods, handmade crafts, and wellness-focused items. In addition to shopping, visitors can expect community resource booths, nutrition education, and opportunities to engage with local nonprofit partners.

“Launching a Farmers Market in Clarkston is a direct reflection of our values — access to healthy food, support for small businesses, and a place where every culture is celebrated,” said Mayor Beverly H. Burks. “This market will not only bring fresh produce to our residents but also provide economic opportunity for entrepreneurs and farmers in our region.”

Krys Cage, CEO of Event HelperZ, shared similar enthusiasm: “We believe markets like this are more than just places to shop — they are engines for health, inclusion, and community empowerment. We’re excited to help create a space where Clarkston’s diversity can be celebrated through commerce, culture, and connection.”

The Clarkston Farmers Market was created to support small business development, encourage healthy lifestyles, and strengthen Clarkston’s reputation as one of the most diverse and welcoming communities in the nation. By offering a space where entrepreneurs, farmers, and artisans can thrive, the market will also serve as an economic development tool while reinforcing the city’s mission of equity and inclusion.
