A retired social worker, Sharifa has devoted her life to serving others, guided by a deep belief in the power of local government to create meaningful change. She is an active member of the Clarkston Senior Connection and serves as a board member of the Amani Women Center, where she continues her work to empower and uplift the community.
As a City Council member, Sharifa is passionate about building bridges, fostering inclusivity, and advocating for policies that meet the diverse needs and aspirations of all Clarkston residents.
