Clarkston Police and Refuge Coffee to Host a National Faith and Blue Block Party

Join the Clarkston Police and Refuge Coffee as they partner with the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) and the One Congregation One Precinct (One COP) initiative of MovementForward, Inc. to host a National Faith and Blue (NFBW) Clarkston Block Party on October 11, 2020, at Refuge Coffee (4170 East Ponce de Leon, Ave., Clarkston, 30021), 1PM-3PM.

The mission of National Faith & Blue Weekend (NFBW) is to facilitate safer, stronger, more just and unified communities by directly facilitating collaborations between law enforcement officers and local residents through the connections of houses of worship. Needing  a positive “movement” that builds bridges to unite all people, NFBW aims to spur such a movement by the way of law enforcement and local faith and community organizations co-hosting activities focused on strengthening the bond between communities and those that protect them.
