Chief Bullock brings more than 30 years of progressive law enforcement leadership experience with the Cobb County Police Department, where he has served in numerous command and executive leadership roles throughout his distinguished career.
Throughout his career, Chief Bullock has demonstrated a strong commitment to operational leadership, community engagement, strategic crime reduction initiatives, and collaborative partnerships. As Precinct Commander for the Cumberland/Vinings Area, he successfully directed operations for a precinct of 87 officers, served a highly diverse population and implemented targeted public safety strategies that resulted in measurable reductions in crime.
Most recently, Chief Bullock has served as Police Major and Commander of Professional Standards, overseeing departmental operations related to internal investigations, policy compliance, recruitment, and professional standards. In this role, he led a high-performing team focused on transparency, accountability, recruitment, and organizational excellence.
Chief Bullock is a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy and holds multiple advanced law enforcement certifications, including Georgia P.O.S.T. Advanced and Management Certifications, Command Officer Development Certification through the Southern Police Institute, and Critical Incident Command Certification.
He earned a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Troy University.
