The Clarkston Housing Summit, held in partnership with the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), is part of the City’s commitment to addressing housing needs through informed and inclusive community planning. This initiative was made possible after the City of Clarkston was selected to receive technical assistance through ARC’s 2025 Community Development Assistance Program (CDAP), a competitive regional program that supports local governments in tackling key development challenges.
Recognizing the growing demand for housing solutions in Clarkston, city leaders submitted a proposal focused on engaging residents directly in the planning process. With ARC’s support, the Housing Summit was developed to provide a space for data-driven discussion, shared learning, and honest dialogue around the city's housing landscape.
